The 48th Annual University of Chicago Folk Festival of traditional music takes place Friday through Sunday, February 8-10, 2008. The Festival features three evening concerts in Mandel Hall, 1131 East 57th Street, plus two full days of free workshops, dances and jam sessions in Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 East 59th Street. Featuring three days of the best traditional, "roots" musicians in Bluegrass, Country Blues, Old-Time fiddle, Irish, Creole, Klezmer, Scottish, Chicago Blues, Old-Time String, and much more!
